Life and Study in the U.S. from a Vietnamese Perspective: A Panel Discussion (2003 NAFSA Annual Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA)

Description: Session will present information and a variety of perspectives from the vantage point of a panel of Vietnamese undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at both public and private institutions.

This session was organized and chaired by Dr. Mark Ashwill, USIEF executive director and director of the World Languages Program/Fulbright Program Adviser at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. The  panelists were  Thu Vu, Diep Thai and Van Pham.  Please click on their names (above) to read their remarks.  NAFSA: Association of International Educators "promotes the exchange of students and scholars to and from the United States." Its members "share a belief that international educational exchange advances learning and scholarship, builds respect among different peoples and encourages constructive leadership in a global community."
